XYCRYLIC ADMIX is a water-based, high solids, polymer dispersion specifically designed for fortifying Portland cement compositions.

This liquid is milky white in colour and improves curing qualities, enhances bond, imparts excellent water and weather resistance, and reduces shrinkage cracking. Xycrylic Admix is also used to fortify Xypex Patch’n Plug.

Xypex Quickset is a water-soluble liquid blend of silicates, neutralizers and penetrating agents specially compounded to harden, dustproof and seal the surfaces of fresh or newly cured concrete floors.

Applied to the concrete surface, Xypex Quickset penetrates into the capillaries of the concrete substrate and chemically reacts with the free lime and calcium carbonate to form a hard, insoluble gel within the pores, thus closing off the small voids. Quickset provides superior hardening and a dustproof finish.

XYPEX GAMMA CURE is a curing agent designed specifically for Xypex crystalline waterproofing products. Gamma Cure may be used as an alternative to water curing for certain Xypex applications. It is also used to accelerate the Xypex Crystallization Process.

Xypex Gamma Cure acts as an evaporation retardant by retaining the maximum amount of moisture in the Xypex coating. It also provides a catalyst for the reaction with the Xypex crystalline waterproofing treatment. It is a self-dissipating (2 – 3 days) non-film forming product.

M P&P Mortar is a fast setting, non-shrink mortar for concrete repairs where waterproofing is a requirement.

M P&P Mortar is used for sealing cracks to stop water flows, and other defects in concrete. It is also used to seal tie bolt holes.

Silica Fume is a high performance, densified silica fume powdered product, derived as a by-product from the production of Ferro Silicon using the arc furnace method. Used in pre-mixed concrete for enhancing mechanical properties of concretes with special performance requirements, including increased strength, reduced permeability, improved abrasion resistance and increased corrosion resistance.

Silica fume consists of very fine particles. Because of its extreme fineness and high silica content, silica fume is a highly effective pozzolanic material. Being a highly reactive pozzolan, silica fume chemically reacts with the calcium hydroxide present in the cement paste, creating a stronger calcium silica hydrate ‘making it sticky’. The result is improved paste to aggregate bond (excellent for shotcrete) and higher concrete strengths. Silica Fume is typically grey in colour and is categorised as a supplementary cementitious material (SCM). Silica Fume is compliant to AS/NZ 3582.3:2002 and is described as a Densified Amorphous Fumed Silica.

Kuniseal C-31 DS has been developed as an easy-to-use bentonite clay swelling waterstop material designed to prevent the ingress of water through cast-in-situ concrete construction joints.

XYPEX PATCH’N PLUG is a specially designed, fast-setting, non-shrink, high-bond-strength, hydraulic cement compound for concrete patching and repair.

Patch’n Plug stops flowing water in seconds and is used to seal cracks, tie holes, and other defects in concrete. The high performance characteristics of Patch’n Plug are enhanced by Xypex’s unique crystalline waterproofing technology.

XYPEX MEGAMIX I is a thin parge coat for the waterproofing and resurfacing of vertical or masonry or concrete surfaces, as a cap coat for Xypex Concentrate, or as an architectural rendering.

Megamix I is a unique blend of Portland cement, treated silica sand, fibers and proprietary chemicals. It is mixed with Xycrylic Admix to produce enhanced bond. Megamix I is applied by brush or trowel up to a thickness of 10 mm. The high performance characteristics of Megamix I are enhanced by Xypex’s unique crystalline waterproofing and protection technology.
